Murrell “Bud” Goodwin, 63, of Shannon, passed away on July 25, 2014 at the NMMC. He was born on April 17, 1951 in Tupelo to the late Clovis and Anna (Estes) Goodwin. Murrell worked as a factory worker in the Furniture industry for many years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting when he could and always enjoyed watching Duck Dynasty.
Graveside service and burial will be Monday at 10:00 am in the Harden’s Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Calvin Chandler officiating. Senter Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Murrell is survived by his loving spouse, Cindy Wilson Goodwin, Daughter, Shanda Goodwin Campbell of Pearl, MS; Godson, Jeremy Moore of Mooreville; Granddaughter, Ivanna Campbell, three Grandsons, Sid Campbell, Preston Campbell, and Levi Campbell all of Pearl; two Sisters, Jo Ann Horton of Shannon, Loretta Lee of Saltillo; Several Nieces and Nephews; three special friends, Bruce Williams, Buck Smith, Roy Wehrman.
Pallbearers are Jeremy Moore, Bruce Williams, Buck Smith, Roy Wehrman, Gary Horton, Jalen Thomas, and Tommy Lowery
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sister, Betty Ruth Lowery, brother-in-law, Willard Horton, brother-in-law, Robert Lee.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 27, 2014 2:00 – 6:00 pm at Senter Funeral Home in Fulton.
