Funeral for Murphy Parker, 76, of Moulton, will be Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Marcus Lipscomb and the Reverend Joshua McGuire officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens with Masonic honors. Visitation will be tonight, July 15, 2016, from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Parker, who died Thursday, July 14, 2016, in Huntsville, was born, Nov. 28, 1939, to James Wiley Parker and Eula Mae Robbins Parker. He was a member of the Baptist Church and Loyd O. Glenn Masonic Lodge #6, F&AM. He was preceded in death by father, James Wiley Parker; mother, Eula Mae Robbins Parker; brother, Rufus Parker; sister, and Marie Jetton.
Survivors include wife, Judy Parker; two sons, Mike (Tonya) Parker and Mickey (Debra) Parker; daughter, Leah (Will) McIntosh; two sisters, Bessie Morgan and Avon McMillian; five grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mark Parker, Tim Parker, Jeremy Foote, Jamie Foote, Damon Morgan and Dustin Morgan.
