Murl C. Clemmons, 72, of Town Creek, died Dec. 10, 2013, at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Ill. Her funeral will be Sunday, Dec. 15, at 2 at Jackson Memory Funeral Home. There will be a visitation today from 4-8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Clemmons was born to Robert M. Campbell Sr. and Ina Burchel Campbell on March 24, 1941. She was married to Kenneth Clemmons on Sept. 5, 1949, and remained until he passed away in 1996. She was preceded in death by seven sisters and five brothers.
She is survived by one son, Carl Anthony Clemmons, Carpentersville, Ill; three daughters, Margaret Ann (Roy) Okamura, Donna (Scott) Nelson and Tina Clemmons, all of Palatine, Ill.; grandchildren, Jennifer Clemmons, Koji Okamura, Ashley Nelson, Krissy Okamura, Georgene Colon, Richard Colon and Angelina Colon; her siblings, Tom T. Campbell (Gail), Mattie Henley, all of Town Creek, Fay Odell, of Russellville, and Sue Clemons (Doug), of Hartselle; and many nieces and nephews.
