Multiple Federal Indictments for Driver of Truck that Struck and Killed Motorcyclist

PRENTISS COUNTY, MS – On Wednesday, August 6, 2014, a truck driven by Donnie Sartain of Tishomingo, MS crossed the center line and struck a motorcycle killing both riders.  Sartain was arrested on scene for suspicion of Driving Under the Influence.

On August 19, 2014, a federal grand jury in Oxford, MS handed-down a four count indictment in the case. Sartain was indicted on two counts of Driving Under the Influence Resulting In Death and two counts of Negligent Homicide/Manslaughter under 18 United States Code 1112.   A trial date has not been set.
