Mrs. Naomi Ruth Amos Davis, age 85 of East Highway, Boaz, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013 at her residence.
Service will be Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at McRae Funeral Home Chapel Bro. Aaron Johnson and Bro. Richard Pettijohn will be officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Monday evening 6 – 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Davis was born in Alabama on Oct. 21, 1927 to James Lee & Mary Pearl Collins Amos. She was a retired financial secretary for First Baptist Church Boaz.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her: Daughter: Myra Davis of Boaz, Grandchildren: Shane Otinger, Eric Davis, Anthony Thompson and Anna Davis, Great Grandchildren: Chastin Otinger, Shayna Otinger, Tide Thompson and Camille Thompson, Brother: J. L. Amos of Ohio, Sister: Wynell Oliver of Florida. Pallbearers will be Shane Otinger, Eric Davis, Anthony Thompson, Tommy Thompson, Roger Jones and Tide Thompson.
