Funeral services for Mr. Frank Oliver “Ollie” Gober, 85 of Cullman, will be Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Cullman Memory Gardens, Dr. Edwin Hayes officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Gober passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 in Birmingham. He was born August 6, 1927 to parents Goerge Mitchell & Lennie Mae McCullough Gober. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 60 years, Virginia Brown Gober; a sister, Dovie (Glover) Pannel; and three brothers, Dallas Gober, Everett Gober, and Lester (Jean) Gober.
Survivors include two daughters, Janet (Stott) Campbell of Birmingham and Amy (William) McCracken, of Cullman; three grandchildren, Will (Amanda) McCracken of Ohio, Candace Campbell of Indiana, Maranda (Derick) Hallmark of Germany, formerly of Cullman; three great-grandchildren, Anna McCracken of Ohio, Gina Hallmark and Ali Hallmark , both of Germany; three sisters, Mae Jean Dillard, Jettie (Billy) Beasley and Christine Griffin, all of Mississippi; a brother, Dual (Mamie) Gober; two sisters-in law, Annette Gober and Jewel Gober; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 10-11 am at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Ray Gober, Joe Hagan, Charles Howell, Sonny Mullins, Ruben Williams, and Joe Wright.
