D.7.6.23 Morris Reagin.jpg Morris W. Reagin, of Decatur, AL, passed away on July 2, 2023. Visitation will be on Saturday, July 8 from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home with Celebration of Life service to follow at 1:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home with Brother Steve Smith and Brother Curtis Sampley officiating. He will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery in Athens, AL.

Morris is survived by his wife, Nell D. Reagin; daughter, Amy L. Reagin; son, Daniel C. Reagin and his wife, Susie; grandson, Kris Bennefield; great-grandson, Brielan Ivy; brother, Wayne Reagin and his wife, Bonnie; nephew, Philip and niece Kim. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Reagin and mother, Annie Lee Ledbetter Reagin; grandson, Michael Ashley Reagin.

After graduating from Decatur High School in 1956 Morris joined the U.S. Army where is was active duty for six months then seven and a half years in the reserves. He worked at Kroger grocery stores for five years. He attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville during these years. Then he went to work at Chemstrand (Monsanto, Solutia) for 30-plus years. After retiring he loved to play golf and loved traveling. He was overseeing building our last house with Mr. Miller.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Kris Bennefield, Richard Bright, Dan Cunningham, Danny Grissom, Larry Mitchell, and Franklin Wallace.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beltline Church of Christ Mission Fund.
