Morris “Skeeter” Caruthers, age 82 of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020. He was a member of West Gaines Church of Christ. He worked for Doss Brothers for many years and in his spare time he loved to go fishing.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Tommie and Mattie Caruthers; Son, Jerry Collier; Brother, Vernie Caruthers; Sisters, Bessie Louise Wilkerson, Mary Tom Caruthers.
He is survived by his Niece, Linda Cobbins; Great Nephews, Chris Wilkerson, Nathan Wilkerson; Devoted Cousin, Betty Liles; several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Chapel on Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. with Brother Michael Johnston officiating.
