Morris Butler, 76, of Rogersville, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at his residence. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Morris was preceded in death by his parents, Buford & Gladys Butler; brothers, Mikey & Danny Butler; sisters, Marcell Couch and Mitzi Whitehouse. He is survived by his children, Cynthia Butler Swan (Brandon) and Scotty Butler (Jennifer); grandchildren, Amber and Will Lewter, Colton, Malley, Slade and Carson Swan; sister, Pam Putler.
The family would like to extend special thanks to State Line Lounge staff, Stevie Williams, Cassie Dean, Joanie Lane and Amanda Patterson.
There will be a memorial service at a later date at Happy Valley Baptist Church.
