Graveside service for Montine Rose, 85, of Decatur will be Sunday, March 22, 2015, at 3 p.m. at Moulton Memory Gardens with Scott Bailey officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rose, who died Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at her residence, was born May 28, 1929, in Douglas, AL, to Clarence Ferguson and Lola Wigley Ferguson. She was a member of Beltline Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with family and church. She was preceded in death by her brother, Revelle Ferguson; and sisters, Imogene Simpson and Elouise Madry.
Survivors include two sons, Steve Rose (Denise) of Decatur and Greg Rose (Janet) of Rochester Hills, MI; and six grandchildren, Ben (Andrea) Rose, Matthew Rose, Tim (Melina) Rose, Audra Rose, Melanie Rose and Julianna Rose.
Memorials may be made to Beltline Church of Christ Benevolence Fund.
