Funeral service for Montez Lively Morgan, age 89, of Decatur, will be Monday, June 2, 2014, 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Esco Olinger officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Morgan, who died Friday, May 30, 2014, at River City Center, was born August 1, 1924, in Tuscumbia, to John Lively and Lillie Brown Lively. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Cleveland Morgan, and her son, James Cleveland Morgan.
She is survived by two grandsons, Steve Morgan of Hartselle, and John Morgan of Decatur; and three great-grandchildren, Hunter Morgan, Kayla Morgan, and Jade Morgan.
