Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Monte “Snake Man” Mason, age 72 of Huntland. Mr. Mason passed away February 25, 2020 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Winchester. Mr. Mason is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Cantrell Mason and his father, Willie Mason; 3 sisters and 3 brothers. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 40 years, Dorothy Daniel Mason; daughter, Amber Hicks of Winchester; sister, Rennie Marie Smith of Dalton, GA; brothers, Leo Mason of Kelso, TN and Louie (Marie) Mason of McMinnville; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Mason was a trucker for more than thirty years of his life. In his spare time he worked on cars and could fix about anything, with or without wheels and he loved to fish. He also hunted rattlesnakes and had a large collection of hides to show. The family will receive friends Saturday February 29, 2020 at Watson-North Funeral Home between the hours of 6 and 7 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev.
