Monroe Marian Cooner, age 88, of Jasper, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019 at his daughters residence.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. James Aaron, Honorable Retired Presiding Court Judge Jerry K. Selman and Hoyt Elliott will officiate.
Mr. Cooner was preceded in death by his Father-Claude Greene Cooner; Mother-Emma Lane Cooner.
He is survived by his Loving Wife of 66 years-Dot Cooner; Daughter-Represenative Connie Cooner Rowe (John) ; Grandson-Marion Rivers Wells (Jessie); Grand Dog-Jackson Brown; Godchildren-Molly Rowe and Ryan Rowe; Cousin-Charles D. Cooner (Shelia).
