Monika K. Fell, age 81 of Haleyville, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021, at her residence.
Mrs. Fell was born on April 2, 1940 in Chemnitz, Germany. Monika loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville.
Monika is survived by her son, James Fell (Lynn); grandchildren, Jim Fell (Alisha), Katie Fell (Greg Frederick); great-grandchildren, Emma Frederick, Jacob Frederick, Graham Fell, Luca Fell; nieces and nephew, Tina Seay and Billy Fell of Phil Campbell, and Jody Wilbur of New York; and many great- nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Fell; parents, Hans and Kathe Ilchmann; and a brother, Knut Ilchmann
