Mona Glenn Monk, age 71, of Birmingham, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022.
Ms. Monk was born on March 29, 1951 to the late Troy and Jeanette Glenn. She was a retired school teacher who adored her students. Mona was a devoted mother who cherished time with her children and grandchildren. She loved the Lord and was a caring Christian lady.
Ms. Monk is survived by her sons, Glen Lawayne Camper (Jill), Larry Christopher Camper (Joanna); grandchildren, Meagan Jane Camper, Carson Camper, Jordan Camper, Makenna Camper; sisters, Jean Utley and Marilyn McNaron.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Monk is preceded in death by her husband, Robert N. Monk; sister, Joan Alexander.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Collier Butler Funeral Home from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Burial will take place at a later date at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.
