Modena Mackie Greene, 85, of Huntsville passed away Friday. Modena was born and raised in Cookeville, TN. She met and married Joe Lee Greene and they were married for just shy of 65 years. She loved gardening, sewing and birds.
Survivors include daughters, Angela Drensek (Ralph) and Karen Greene; and one grandson, Ralph Drensek II. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A family burial will be held in Cookeville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to Huntsville Hospital Foundation, designated to Hospice Family Care, at 801 Clinton Avenue East, Huntsville, AL 35801 (www.huntsvillehospitalfoundation.org).
