Modena Clark Russell, age 72 of Huntland, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Elk River Health and Rehabilitation Center. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Huntland on March 30, 1948 to the late Lonzo and Elsie (Hill) Clark. Before her retirement, Modena had been employed by Shaw Industries. Modena loved people….taking care of people and cooking for her friends and family. She also enjoyed flower gardening, shopping on QVC, and decorating her home for the seasons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Russell; and siblings, Dave Clark, Lorena Blackburn, Mary Ann Watson, Wiley Hugh Clark, Lloyd Alan Clark, and Jimmy Dale Clark. Modena is survived by her loving sons, Tommy Lee “Tee” Russell II of Huntland, and Ricky Russell of Decherd; sisters, Elaine Clark Hasting of Tullahoma, and Alice Ayers of Huntland; grandchildren, Amber Nelle (Robert) Sullivan of Huntland, Bethany Russell of Tullahoma, and Veronica Russell of Huntland; great-granddaughter, Jayci Sullivan of Huntland; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 7, 2020 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev.
