Mitchell Wayne Smothers, Jr., age 48 of Nauvoo passed away August 12, 2019 at Jackson Hospital. There will be a gathering of friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, August 19, 2019 at Bell Sumiton Chapel. Preceding him in death was his father, Mitchell Wayne Smothers, Sr.
His survivors include his wife, Melissa Smothers; mother, Pamela Smothers; sisters, Kimberly Smothers (Steve) and Kristy Freeman (John); brother, Gregory Smothers; daughter, Savannah Dozier; son, Corey Smothers (Stacey); stepson, Gerald Uvalle; stepdaughters, Kayla Uvalle and Jasmine Uvalle; grandsons, Brayden Dozier and Braxton Dozier; granddaughter, Peyton Smothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
