Mitchell Lagrant Cochran, age 73, passed away July 22, 2015, at D.C.H. Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Mitchell was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ella Mae Cochran, and by his 12 siblings. He attended school in Hackleburg.
He was an avid gardener and took great pride in his skill on his tractors and mowers. He loved to travel and most of all he loved his children and grandchildren. He was Baptist by faith.
He is survived by his wife, Jane; his son, Cary (fiancee, Shanna Ables); daughters, Lisa (Jonathan) McGuire and Karen Cornelius (fiance, Benny Johnston); stepdaughter, Dena (David) Rose; seven grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Hamilton Funeral Home is directing.
