FLORENCE-The search has resumed for the two fishermen reported missing from Florence Harbor around 7 PM on Wednesday, March 2 .
The search for Jeremiah and Jacob Sanders of Florence resumed this afternoon when boats were put back in the water to continue the search. Jeremiah is 29 years old, Jacob is 24 were reported missing on Wednesday evening when they did not return to Florence Harbor according to officials. Jacob plays bass for the band Velcro Pymgies and Jeremiah works for Ricatoni’s in Florence.
According to officials with EMA, although its is possible the brothers can be found alive, it is most likely a recovery mission at this time.
Florence Fire and Killen Fire and Rescue as well as Lauderdale EMA along with ALEA, Marine Patrol Aviation have contributed to the search and rescue effort.
