Missing Boater Found Two Days After Going Missing In Guntersville Lake

GUNTERSVILLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (Marine Division) has an update on the missing boater from Friday, July 7:

“On Sunday, July 9, at approximately 9:20 a.m. Jeffrey S. Abston’s body was recovered near the same location in which he went missing in the area of South Sauty on Lake Guntersville in Jackson County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Marine Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
