PHIL CAMPBELL  – Northwest Shoals Community College (NWSCC) is proud to announce the return of the Miss Northwest Shoals Scholarship Competition, a preliminary event to Miss Alabama, organized by NWSCC Student Life.
After nearly three decades, this prestigious pageant program is set to grace the NWSCC Phil Campbell campus. The event will take place in the Lou B. Bevill Auditorium on Saturday, February 17, 2024, starting at 5:00 pm.
NWSCC will welcome Brianna Burrell, the current Miss Alabama, as the emcee and performer for the evening. Her presence adds a touch of glamour to an event that focuses on leadership and scholarship opportunities for women in Northwest Alabama who are part of the NWSCC community. This year, the competition expands its reach by including qualifying high school seniors participating in the Dual Enrollment program.
“The Miss Northwest Shoals Scholarship Competition is not just a beauty pageant; it’s a platform for empowering and supporting the aspirations of the talented women in our community,” said Savannah Liles, Miss Northwest Shoals Event Coordinator.
Contestants have until February 9, 2024, to register for the competition. Interested participants can register at the following link: https://nwscc.edu/patriot-central/clubs-organizations/ (scroll to the bottom of the page).
