Miriam L. DenamIt is with great sadness that the family of Miriam L. Denam of Harvest, AL. announces her sudden passing on October 5th, 2023 at the age of 75.
Miriam is lovingly remembered by her husband of 44 years Harvey Denam LCDR U.S.N, granddaughters Cassie Denam of Odessa, Tx and Angela Watson of Las Vegas ,NV , great granddaughters AaLajah, Adejah, Ayana, and Alexa all of Las Vegas NV. , step-daughter Rebecca Denam of Ederland, TX , Sister Diana Berry of Ft Bragg, CA. , Sister-in-Laws Doris Sheridan, Sandy Ramiller both of Howell, MI, Brother-in-law Richard Denam of Flint, MI, Stewart and Leann Fowler, their children Jennifer, Sarah, and Ben, all of Harvest, AL. As well as many dear friends, neighbors, and family.
Warmly referred to as Mimi or Mims by the children in her life, Miriam was known for many things to name a few: Cookies, she made them for not only her family but also the friends she made of the years. She would make the cookies for bake sales, and Christmas gifts. She always said the main ingredient was love. A few of Miriam’s fondest memories were with her husband traveling in their motor home, visiting national parks and “meeting new friends”. Her most enduring memories are summers with her granddaughters. Miriam had a great appreciation of beautiful things such as vibrant flowers and many different types of birds and the Grand Canyon. The family wants to thank everyone for their condolences and well wishes.
Miriam is preceded in death by parents Alan and Betty Hill, Sister Darline Cousins, and brother Thomas Sherman.
She will be buried at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
