Kenneith Tucker Collins, 60, of Athens, AL, passed away October 7, 2023, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 31, 1963 in Athens, AL.
She is survived by her husband Jon Collins and her son Jacob Tucker Collins; mother Robbie Davis Tucker; brother Greg Tucker (Kim); and sister Melinda Mashburn (Randy); and many nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces, and cousins.
Mrs. Collins is preceded in death by her father Kenneth Tucker; sister Belinda Motter; and niece Kattie Motter.
Kenneith is a graduate of Athens State University, where she worked 30 years in Publications & Promotions before retiring in 2021. She was a lifelong member of O’Neal Church of Christ.
Due to her kind, gentle and loving nature, she was loved dearly by family and countless friends.
Visitation will be at Limestone Chapel on Tuesday, October 10, from 6-8 p.m. and the funeral Wednesday, October 11, at 11 a.m. with Daniel Tucker and Greg Chandler officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Tucker, Josh Tucker, Heath Mashburn, Coby Scroggins, Colby Gooch, Levi Pipes, Andrew Smith and Will Stinnett.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Kathryn Eby Beckerman and all those who cared for her at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Encompass Health Rehabilitation, with CenterWell Home Health, and Southern Care New Beacon Hospice.
Jon and Jake especially want to thank all the family members and special friends who helped take tremendous care of their wife and mother after a lengthy hospital stay over the summer.
