Miriam Alexander Hebert, age 83, passed away Feb. 21, 2017. She lived most of her life in Brusly, Louisiana. Visitation is at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brusly on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Reverend Matthew Lorrain officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Miriam was a talented artist and secretary at Brusly High School for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Hebert; infant children, Naomi and Louis Hebert; parents, Clifford and Amelia (Duce) Alexander; and siblings, Curtis Alexander, Beryl Dupuy, and Delores Prejean.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Bridget and Jimmy Estelle, Alabama; son and daughter-in-law, Clifford “Skip” and Margie “Sissy” Hebert, Louisiana; grandchildren, Audra (Drew) Lorenzoni, Jonathan Estelle, Don (Yvette) Estelle, Laura (Cody) Lee, Joey (Mary Carol) Hebert, and Jennifer Hebert; great-grandchildren, Avery, Ashlynn, and Annabella Lorenzoni, Jozie Estelle, Lana, Aspen and Lincoln Lee, and Noah, Logan, Matthew and Mason Hebert; and brother, Joseph Alexander.
Special thanks to staff and friends at Columbia Cottage Assisted Living facility and Kindred Hospice caregivers for their kind and thoughtful help. Many thanks to Steve Kirkpatrick and Father John O’Donnell, OSB, of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Florian, Alabama for their visits and prayers.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
