Minnie Emler Minnie Ree Jones Emler, age 79, resident of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Life Care Center of Columbia.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 22nd at 4:00PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Jason Caddy officiating.  Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.  The family will visit with friends on Saturday, May 21st  from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Minnie was born in Limestone, Alabama and was the daughter of the late Charlie L. Jones and the late Evie Lee Haggermaker Jones. She was a homemaker that was of the Nazarene faith.  Minnie enjoyed cooking for her family and doing search words in puzzle books.  Most of all she loved nature and being outdoors tending to her flowers.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Minnie is survived by her husband, J.C. Fisher of Columbia; son, Junior (Allison) Emler of Summertown; daughter, Becky (Darrell) Foster of Columbia; step daughter, Susan (Alan) Wilson of GA; sisters, Lois (Buck) Fisher of Columbia and Elizabeth Jones of Columbia; grandchildren, Brian Watkins, Crystal Foster Davis, Steven Anderson, Kayla Anderson, and Eli Emler; and great grandchildren, Payton Davis, Dillon Davis, Nora Anderson, and Clara Anderson.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Prentice Emler, Sr.; daughter, Angela Anderson; sisters, Inez Jones, and Nelladean Jones; and brothers, James Edward Jones and Orville Jones.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Mayberry, Donald R. Buckle, Tommy Stanfill, Guy Ward Davidson, and Billy Sargent.

The family requests memorial donations to Alzheimers Association, 478 Craighead St #200, Nashville, TN 37204.
