Minnie Marie Nelson King, 85, Russellville, passed away on Friday, March 07, 2014 at Russellville Hospital.
Mrs. King loved to quilt and had made several beautiful quilts. She also loved to listen to gospel music.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. Officiating at the service will be Bro. Andy Cansler. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Carlos King and Jerry Wayne King and their spouses; 5 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hermit Leander “Tirey” King; parents, Tommy & Ethel Nelson; and 2 sisters.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Intensive Care Unit of Russellville Hospital and to Sammy and Opal Hall for the love and care of our family.
