Funeral services for Ms. Minnie Belle Hinson, age 90, will be Saturday April 11, 2026, at 11 AM in the chapel of Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home in Humboldt, TN with Pastor Jake Fry officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Humboldt, TN. Visitation will be Saturday April 11, 2026, starting at 10 AM until service time at 11 AM.
Minnie Belle Hinson was born February 13, 1937, to Onlia Jasper and Edna Viola (McDonald) Hinson in Middle Tennessee.
Ms. Hinson, a retired employee of Anderson Clayton and long-standing member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Humboldt, passed away Monday, April 6, 2026, at Avondale Health and Rehabilitation Center in Humboldt, TN.
Ms. Hinson, in her younger years, and her sister Betty taught a children’s Sunday School Class. Miss Belle was never married and no children. She lived her life committed to Jesus and served Him as best she could. Her church family was truly her family. Pastor Jake Fry and every member of that congregation was near and dear to her heart. Emmanuel Baptist Church is where she felt at home and gave and received love freely.
Ms. Hinson was preceded in death by her parents Onlia Jasper and Edna Viola (McDonald) Hinson; and all of her siblings Bessie Kyle of Cedar Grove, Bertha Hinson of Humboldt, Beulah Hinson of Hohenwald, Betty Bost of Missouri, Joe Hinson of Hohenwald, and John Hinson of Hohenwald.
Ms. Hinson is survived by many nieces.
