Mindy Maffett Chaney age 56, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014. The family will receive friends for a celebration of life on Thursday, August 7th from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. She was a local floral designer and was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ. Preceded her in death were her parents, Lloyd and Eleanor Maffett. Survivors are her husband, Wayne Chaney; sons, Noah Holmes (Molly) and Christopher Chaney; daughters, Amy Chaney Lavender, Emma Grace Chaney, and Charley Chaney; brothers, Lloyd Maffett, Jr. and George Mafett; one unborned granddaughter; grandchildren, Cade and Chaney Lavender, and Dog, Orphan. In-lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.
