Mindy Joan Kimbrough, age 39, of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, April 1st, 2025, at Athens Limestone Hospital. Born on July 20th, 1985, in Athens, she was a daughter of Kenneth Ray Kimbrough and Denise Lenora Smith.
Mindy is lovingly remembered by her mother, Denise Smith, and sister, Tabitha Brabo (Frank). She is also survived by her devoted daughters, Shiann Chambers, Kirsten Chambers, and Haley Young, along with her cherished grandson, Hayden Luke Usher. Her nephew, Nicholas White, and niece, Lilly Bay Brabo, will hold her memory close.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Cindy Jean Kimbrough, and her grandparents, Thomas Wayne and Dorothy Jean Davis.
Mindy was a remarkable woman, known for her funny, caring, and sometimes stubborn nature. Her willingness to help anyone in need and her outspoken, lively spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She dearly loved her family and friends, and she had a special fondness for cookies and cream ice cream. Mindy will be greatly missed by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.
