Milton Lee Isbell – Obituary

Milton Lee Isbell, 83 of Tuscumbia, died Monday, October 29, 2012. Visitation will be Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. The funeral will be Friday, November 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Greg Beasley and Frankie LaBoone officiating. Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery.

Mr. Isbell was a Colbert County native. He was a retired farmer and carpenter. He was an ordained deacon and member of The Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aussie and Autrey Ussrey Isbell; and sister Delores Isbell Aycock.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mattie Ruth Byrd Isbell; daughter, Joan Rebecca Isbell Fleming and husband, Eddie of Tuscumbia; granddaughter, Molly LeAnne Fleming King and husband Brian of Town Creek; great grandson, Jaxson Lee King of Town Creek; sister Judy Isbell Keeton of Leighton; and very special friends, Gene Wilbanks and family.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Aycock, Ronnie Ayers, Wayne Carruthers, Liston Coggins, Jamie Keeton, Danny McCollum, Matthew Reed, Fred Lee Ricks, Danny Seahorn, and David Wilbanks.
