Milos Rastovac (40) of Huntsville passed away on September 18, 2026 in Huntsville, Alabama after a brief illness. Milos was born on November 11, 1985 in Pancevo, Serbia (formerly Yugoslavia) and had been a resident of the U.S. since 1995.
Milos is survived by his son Gabriel Rastovac, mother Jelena Lampert, father Teso Rastovac, brother Ryan Rastovac, stepfather Donald Lampert, Gabriel’s mother Cotina Pickrell, and many other relatives and friends.
After immigrating to the United States, Milos attended school in Hazel Green, and mostly worked in roofing and manufacturing. He received certifications in mechatronics, soldering, and robotics and was very proud of his work at Benchmark Electronics.
Milos enjoyed playing video games, learning to play unusual instruments, trying new foods, and spending time with family and friends, especially his son Gabriel. He possessed a keen sense of humor and always saw the best in others.
A Celebration of Life service for Milos will be held at Huntsville Christian Church, 171 Indian Creek Road NW, at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, September 23.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial gifts be made to a college fund for Gabriel using Venmo (@Cotina-Pickrell) or CashApp ($CotinaPickrell)
