Milford Allen Sanders, of Florence, AL, born March 26, 1952, retired from Global Fire & Sprinkler as Assistant of Operations, went home with Jesus to be reunited with his parents and brothers on December 23, 2020. Milford is survived by his sister-in-law: Gaynell (Griffen) Sanders; great uncle: Winston Sanders(Frances); great aunt: Ann Goodwin-Moody; his nieces and nephews: Julie Williams, Jeff Sanders, Michael Sanders, Angela Turner, Matthew Sanders, Cynde Williams & Christi Ryan. As well as, many great and great-great nieces and nephews and cousins, whom he loved dearly. Milford is preceded in death by his parents: Arnold W. Sanders and Catherine H. Sanders; brothers: Griffen Sanders, Ray Sanders(Faye), and Joe Sanders(Anita); nephew: Kenneth Sanders(Stephanie); great nephew: Cody Sanders; and nephews-in-law: Keith Williams(Julie), Ronnie Rich(Cynde). Milford had a love and passion for cars, repairing and repainting many over the years. Proving his love and talent are trophies from various car shows. Although his love for cars was strong, his love for his family and friends was even stronger. Milford made sure to extend his helping hand to anyone that needed it. Grace Christian Baptist & Center Star Baptist Church are where Milford worshipped God. He also made his lifelong friends from church, who made a difference in his life. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020 from 11:30am – 1:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Tommy Ruple & Ronnie Jones officiating. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens in Florence. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
