Mildred Watkins King – Obituary

Mildred Watkins King of prospect passed away Tuesday evening, December 22, 2015, at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia. She was born on May 5th, 1935 in Pulaski, TN and was 80 years old.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved to cook. She was a member of the Wales Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 26, 2015 from 10:00am until 2:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Bro. Nick King and Bro. Kevin Wells officiating.
Burial will follow in the Johns Cemetery in Giles County.
Memorial donations are suggested to the church of your choice.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tommy “Pop Daddy” King, parents Lum and Christine Dunavant Watkins, several brothers and sisters, grandson Jeremy King and great-grandson William Smith.
