Mildred Smith, a lifelong member of the Bodenham community, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020, at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Lacy Vera Myers Smith, and her brothers, Malcolm Smith, Clifford Smith, Daniel Smith Jr., and Baby Smith.
She is survived by her sister, Ethel McMasters of Chattanooga, TN, her sister-in-law, Dot Smith of EL Paso, TX, her nieces, Regina Hyatt and husband Barry of Bodenham, TN, Kathy Durham and husband Morris of Bodenham, TN, Jeanne Stanford of Bodenham, TN, Anita Basinger of Chattanooga, TN, and Connie Walls of El Paso, TX, her nephew Tommy McMasters and wife Melinda of Chattanooga, TN, 5 of her great nieces, 7 of her great nephews, 20 of her great-great nieces and nephews, and 4 of her great-great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, where Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2020. Burial will follow in Choates Creek Cemetery.
