Mildred Parker McDonald, 85, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017. The public visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home. Mrs. McDonald’s Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. in Elliott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Howard Fanning will officiate. Interment will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.
She was born April 10, 1932, in Lawrence County to Wallace Parker and Willie Lawirmore Parker, who both precede her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Howard McDonald Sr.; and a granddaughter, Christy Lott.
Survivors include two sons, Howard McDonald Jr. (Angie) and Tim McDonald (Barbara); two daughters, Annette Burns and Kathy Wakefield; two granddaughters, Casey Lefler (Chris) and Kim Hubbard (Jerry); two great-granddaughters, Kaleigh and Lillian Lefler; and one brother, Olin Parker (Linda).
Pallbearers will be, Chris Lefler, Chad Morgan, Ray Fritz, Keith Parker, John Sharp and Brian Warren.
