Funeral service for Mildred “Mickey” Jordan, age 85, of Decatur, will be Saturday, December 8, 2012, 3:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Aldridge officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 7, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Decatur City Cemetery.
Mrs. Jordan, who died Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at her residence, was born October 1, 1927, in Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Jordan.
She is survived by two daughters, Janet Southers (Dallas) and Brenda Richardson (Roger), both of Decatur; three grandchildren, Jason Stutts (Vickie), Brittney Richardson, and Haley Richardson; and two great-grandchildren, Anna Stutts and Tyler Stutts.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
