Funeral service for Mildred Marvalene “Peggy” Davis , age 87 , of Brooksville, will be Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Dobbs and Earl Holt officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 20 , 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel. Interment will be in New Friendship Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis, who died, October 18 , 2015, at her residence , was born , in Morgan County , to Joseph “Joe” Rowe and Pearl Speegle Rowe. She was preceded in death by her husband J. C. Davis and daughter Carolyn Howard.
She is survived by, one son Scotty Davis of Brooksville, two daughters, Rita Herchenhahn (Teddy) of Priceville, Sherry McGuire (Randall) of TN., two Grandchildren Jessica Herchenhahn of SC and Teddy Allen Herchenhahn (Megan) of Priceville ,one Great-Grandchild Abby McDonald of Priceville, special nephew Bobby Taylor and several other nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
