Mildred Lantz Asplint, age 83, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013 at her residence. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired from Kroger, a past member of the Methodist Women’s Society, the Eastern Star, and a member of the New Prospect United Methodist Church where she was an organist for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Petty and Cora Gunnell Richardson; her husbands, C. W. “Pete” Lantz and John Asplint.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, October 21, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 22, 2013, with Billy Beal officiating. Interment will follow at Shaw Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to the New Prospect United Methodist Church.
