Mildred Greene Farrar, 93, Nashville (formerly of Russellville), passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Spry Memorial Chapel, Russellville, AL. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Richard Parker. Burial will be at Belmont City Cemetery, Belmont, MS.
She is survived by her son, Benny Farrar (wife, Francisca), Nashville; daughter-in-law, Pat Farrar, Franklin, TN; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Hubert S. Greene, Rogersville, Al; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlos Farrar; son, Gary Dean Farrar; parents, Offie & Vesta Greene; and brother, Lyman H. Greene.
