Funeral Services for Mrs. Mildred Faye Parker Breedlove, age 88 of Tuscaloosa, were held on Friday August 28, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville. Burial took place in the Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Breedlove passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Heritage Health Care in Tuscaloosa. Born in Clay County, Mrs. Breedlove lived in different parts of the state, including Hueytown and Wedowee for a number of years, and worked as a Typesetter at Daniel’s printing in Ensley, Alabama. She loved to paint, Garden and tend to her flowers, and enjoyed music, especially singing Christian songs. She cherished spending time with her four granddaughters, was a member of Center West Baptist Church and the Hueytown Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Red Hat Club.
She is survived by two sons: Danny Breedlove (Mona) and Mike Breedlove, both of Quinton; four granddaughters: Casey, Ashley, Jamie, Carly; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister: Ruth Buchanan of Delta, plus a large extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Oscar D. Parker and Etta Lou Shaddix Parker; her husband: Dan W. Breedlove, and a host of brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers were: David Culver, Michael Carrier, Joey Shoults, Kaleb Breedlove, David Driggers and Billy Driggers.
