Mildred F. Haywood, 94 of Hanceville, passed July 29, 22 at Hanceville Nursing and Rebab.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Among her great joys in life were, gardening and tending to her plants; she also liked to travel.
Graveside Memorial services will be Saturday Aug. 6, 22 at 11:00 am at Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery. Dr. Sammie Reid will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Coot” Conner; parents, Clyde and Lola Lee Marcum Shipp; sons, Larry and Dale Sloan; grandchildren, Jason Sloan and Michael Mcgee; great grandchild, Ashlynn Mcgee and siblings, Florence Sanders and Melvin “Buddy” Shipp.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Michael Sloan, Candy Sloan, Michelle (Randy) East, Tammy Sloan, Angela Mcgee and Warren (Darrell) Sloan; great grandchildren, Christina and Kayley Sloan, Kyle (Katlyn) Hodge, Kayla (Derek) Payne, Brianna and Jacob Kaufman, Sydney East, Christopher (Darian) Mcgee, Dylan Mcgee and Tristan Sloan; great-great grandchild, Reagan Hodge; daughter-in-law, Cyndi Sloan; sisters, Elizabeth McPherson and Edna Mae Mims; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
