A Celebration of Life Service for Mildred E. Carper Killingsworth is set for 2:00 pm Friday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Whitten officiating. Burial will follow in the Indian Creek Cemetery.
Family and Friends Gathering will be Friday from 12:00 to service time.
Mildred passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. at MS Care Center. She was born June 26, 1949, in McNairy Co, TN. To the late Sampson and Mae Carper. She was of the Baptist faith and was a former garment factory worker. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ami Butler; grandson, Justin Hillis; parents brothers, Roger Carper and Ronnie Carper.
She is survived by her husband, Clifford Killingsworth; daughter, Dorothy Killingsworth; grandchildren, Ethan Hillis, Curtis Butler, and Rachel Butler; sisters, Brenda Ivy, and Shirley Carper; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
