Mildred Driver Terry, 93, of Huntsville passed away Tuesday. Mrs. Terry attended college at Montevallo and the University of Alabama. She taught school in Walker County and in Tuscaloosa for 26 years. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, B.C. Driver and Madison “Boots” Terry.
Survivors include son, Buddy Driver and his wife, Melvia; step-daughters, Jade Abernathy and her husband, Jimmy, and Dana White and her husband, Gary; one grandson; three step- grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Evergreen City Cemetery in Tuscaloosa with Dr. Bobby Burt officiating. Pallbearers will be Chad Driver, Jim Abernathy, Austin Abernathy, Christopher Jacobs, Ward White, Mike Lanier and Jimmy Abernathy.
