Mildred Dobbs Latimer, 82, of Athens, passed away Friday, April 17th, 2026, at her residence. Born May 3rd, 1943, in Jasper, AL. She was born to James and Margaret (King) Dobbs.
Mildred is survived by her son, Mike Latimer (Stephani); daughter, Michelle Craig (JD); sister, Patsy Hargrove; grandchildren, Lacy Beth McMunn (Nick), Brandt Latimer (Megan), Tyler Terry (Hayden), and Lauren Edwards (Chase); and great-grandchildren, Brock Newton, Presley McMunn, Regan McMunn, Sadie Glen McMunn, Breanna Smith (Matt), Caroline Latimer, Shep Latimer, Hudson Edwards, Grayson Edwards, and Wade Terry.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Latimer.
The funeral service for Mrs. Latimer will be Tuesday, April 21st, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Bill Irby officiating. Visitation will be Monday, April 20th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the chapel. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Latimer was a member of Hobbs St. Church of Christ.
