Mildred D. Claunch, 82, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Monday, March 3, 2014, at her residence. She was a former school teacher who enjoying making crafts, gardening, growing flowers, and spending time with her family. Mrs. Claunch was a Baptist. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 4, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Tanner Robinson and Bro. Bobby Elliott. Interment will follow in Little Flock Cemetery. Pallbearers include Gary Hendrix, Nick Hendrix, Sammy Belue, Stevie Williams, Dustin Lambert, and Kenny Claunch. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include one daughter, Sherry Walker (Robert) of Burnsville; one sister, Nancy Lambert of Burnsville; three grandchildren, Kristy Belue (Sammy), Stephanie Walker, and Sondra (Scott) Silverburg, all of Iuka; five great grandchildren, Holly Robinson, Jake Williams, and Sabrina, Shane, and Sloan Silverburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Claunch; her parents, Lucian and Mary Davis; her son, Neal Claunch, and her granddaughter, Allison Williams.
