Mildred Cole Hanback, 83, born in Chattanooga, Tenn. and a long time resident of Lauderdale County, passed away June 10, 2013, at her residence. She was a member of St. John United Methodist Church, Muscle Shoals, Women’s Bowling Association, Women’s International Bowling Congress and the Alabama Women’s State Bowling Association.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 11, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at 10 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be Greg Burnett. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hanback was preceded in death by her husband, Milford Hanback; son, Phillip Hanback; sisters, Helen Blalock, Evelyn Bennett; parents, Claude and Leona Cole.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff Hanback and Sam Hanback (Gina), all of Florence; daughters, Cathy Krum, of Birmingham, Jan Howell (Greg), of Florence; grandchildren, Jennifer Boutin (Jamie), of Birmingham, Christopher Kyle, of Florence, Brian Howell, of Paducah, Ky.; great-grandchild, Abigail Boutin, of Birmingham.
Active pallbearers will be Tracey Ragland, Robert Butler, Nolan Mitchell, Brian Howell, Jamie Boutin and Chris Kyle.
Sam Warden will serve as honorary pallbearer.
