Funeral Service for Mildred Cleo Mooney, age 97, of Trinity,
will be Tuesday, May 14, 2013, 11:00 a.m., at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Myron Mooney, Rev. Jeremiah Mooney, and Rod Keenum officiating.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 13, 2013,
from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Decatur city Cemetery.
Mrs. Mooney, who died Saturday, May 11, 2013, at her residence,
was born July 31, 1915, in Morgan County,
to Jerry Royer and Mattie Russell Royer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phil Mooney.
She is survived by one son, Myron Mooney and wife, Barbara, of Trinity;
two daughters, Linda Keenum of Anniston, and Phyllis Slaten and husband, Steve, of Trinity;
10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
