Mikhail John Brown, age 84 of Huntsville passed away July 12, 2019.
He is survived by his daughters Dorothy Ann Guthrie (Michael James) and Sharon Steelman (Ray); son David Lewis Brown; two brothers Bob Brown and Dennis Brown; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and his devoted ex-wife Holly Brown.
He was a native of Burlingame, CA, and a resident of Madison County since 1973. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Army with 23 years of service to his country, a graduate of the U.S. Army Language School and was fluent in Russian, French, Spanish and German languages. He enjoyed flying his plane, loved to travel, ballroom dancing and traveling worldwide.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 18, 2019, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by the Memorial service at 4:00 p.m. officiated by Alan Wright. Burial is Friday, July 19, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
