Mike Royster, 76, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025 at his residence. He was born March 11, 1949, in Tennessee, to Jack Allensworth Royster and Ruth Marie Whitlowe Royster, who preceded him in death. .
He was employed by the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC), as an Assistant Athletic Director, prior to his retirement. He worked in Athletics for the University for 47 years, and mentored many student athletes. He loved the game of football especially at UTC. He loved his family, especially his grandkids.
His family will hold services in Tennessee at a later date.

his Wife – Pat Royster,
a Son – Joseph Michael Royster (Lauren),
a Daughter – Robin Michelle Arp (Nathan),
Brother – Jack Allensworth (Biddy),
Six Grandchildren – Keagan, Whitt, and Josie Royster, and Scout, Carson, and Bailey Kate Arp.
